Loading time is an important aspect of SEO since it directly affects the likelihood of someone to stay on, interact with, and share your site. Google has a free, in-house tool aptly named Page Speed Insights to help analyze your websites loading time. The Insights tool also gives suggestions on fixing your sites load time, again boosting your SEO capabilities.

Ensure Mobile Responsiveness

People are connected to their smartphone more than their desktop in the current digital age. In fact, mobile searches accounted for nearly 60% of all web searches in 2016. Making sure your site is viewable and accessible to mobile devices in the same capacity as desktop devices is pertinent for optimization. Most site builders like Wix and WordPress have tools for mobile preview, which can help understand how mobile users will interact with your website. Focus on Quality of Quantity

This is the “Golden Rule” of search engine optimization. Throwing a hundred of keywords into posts will not get your viewed by the audiences of all those keywords. It will instead give you minimal reach into all of them and leave you successful in none. The same rule applies to links and content as well. Put the upfront time and effort into choosing outbound (and inbound!) links that are relevant and trusted. MAKE content (not auto-generate) that appeals to an audience who is actually looking for your brand. The key here is that you can’t trick Google into boosting you by overloading your site with “SEO shortcuts.”
